We recently advertised >>a talk by Peter Marmion<< at the Maritime Museum about his circumnavigation of Tasmania – on foot. Our efforts were so effective that large numbers of those who turned up couldn’t get in the door (well – it mightn’t have been just down to us). The good news for those who missed out is that Peter has agreed to be part of a special LBT Monday night event at the Palais. The plan is for the doors to open around 6.30pm so that we are all settled for the talk around 7pm, and then to have supper at 8pm. Cost will be $5 if you bring a plate and $10 if you don’t. This will replace our normal Monday night dinner.
