‘Hi Mike, A huge thanks for all the time, effort and support you have given to safely run the ‘On the Water’ program over the last 10yrs (or more). I have just sent this brief article out in our newsletter. We had some absolutely cracking weather days this term with the least wind I have seen in a very long time. Please pass the following article onto all volunteers that helped out with the program this year.

Over the last 6 weeks all students in the 5/6 classes have had the opportunity to participate in the ‘On the Water’ program at the Living Boat Trust in Franklin. We have focused on learning about the importance of boat safety when going out on the water and rowing together as a team while exploring the Huon river around Franklin. A huge thankyou to all the volunteers at the Living Boat Trust and the HPS staff that have helped facilitate a great outdoor experience for all the 5/6 students at Huonville PS.‘
