Visitor from wintry north

Marguerite Porte writes:

The Friday Morning Social Rowing group were delighted to have a visit from Fiona Stoddart (pictured in the yellow jacket) who rows with the Annan Harbour Rowing Club in Scotland. The Annan River is notable in that there are huge differences between high and low tides – 8 metres is not unusual and Spring tides can be up to 10 metres, so she found that our rowing conditions were pretty tame in comparison.
