It became apparent during the Penguin Project that it would be really helpful for TMSA to hold within its files, a mini audit of skills sets within Sheds. While most Sheds offer woodwork/metal work, there’s others that have specialist services that other Sheds might be interested in. Or when we are asked by members of the public about specific jobs. These can include things like:
- Stonemason
- Blacksmith
- Picture Frames
- Upholstery
- Leather Work
- Boat building
- Laser Printing
- Laser Cutting
These are just a few. We will be sending out a form soon and would really appreciate your Shed completing it and returning to us. Also, below is a link to the latest grant round from TasNetworks. The TMSA Grant Round will open a little later this year due to the Election. I’m hoping you can send me photos of work from your Shed to include in our Shed book for 2024. This will be a great opportunity to showcase some of your Shed’s work.
