One of the good things about having St Ayles Skiffs is that it puts us in touch with a much larger community – witness the advertised ‘Steamers Run’ row on the Gippsland Lakes coming up early next year. And we’ve just been visited by two Skiffies from Scotland who were keen to sample Monday night dinner and go out rowing with us. They found the Huon Estuary a different experience to the North Sea off Dunbar! Great to meet you Ken and Pam (who in the pic below flank Richard Lagsden and Dennis Muscovich of the Tuesday crew).
