Every so often we send out a (gentle) reminder that there is an extra onus on cleaning up a Community Shed such as ours. This is another one. At home we can wallow in the squalor and disorganisation of our kitchens and workshops ‘cos that’s the way we like it and it doesn’t affect anybody else. The LBT Shed, on the other hand, is shared, and when somebody else piles their mess on our mess the situation rapidly degenerates. We recently passed a kitchen inspection by the council because of the good job kitchen users have been doing in making sure this hasn’t happened. Do your bit in keeping it that way: if you see tools out put them away, if there are shavings on the floor sweep them up, if you see dirty dishes wash them.
