Visitor to the Shed

Last Friday we had a visit from Ian Worthington, nephew of Graham Wright. For those who didn’t know him, Graham was, until he passed away, a valued friend and member of our Tuesday Group. Ian writes:

Dear members of Franklin Living Boat Trust,

I am indebted to those of you who took time to meet me and spend time talking about my late uncle Graham Wright.  Equally I wish to thank the Trust as a whole for their warm welcome and generosity in allowing me to join the excursion aboard “Nancy”.  Martin, ably supported by Beata, entertained us for the 90 minute journey and safely navigated us around Rat and the North and South Egg islands.  I now have some photos, which I will take back to Europe, along with fond memories of a splendid time at the LBT and share them with my mother and my aunts, Graham’s elder sisters.

Thank you especially to Mel and Paul and Richard for sharing some tales of the Tuesday club and for their help in setting up my visit in the first place.

I have purchased an LBT floppy hat (as worn by Beata) to remember you by and which I will proudly wear back in France.

Thank you once again and best wishes to you all,
