Mooring plans for boat festival

Boats registered for the Australian Wooden Boat Festival should have received a Boat Owners Manual and a mooring plan for their area in the docks. View this news item on the tn19 website to see the mooring plan on-line. Twenty-four of the tn19 Raid boats will be in Watermans Dock so it’s going to be cosy and will need a bit of planning to ensure we have a smooth arrival at the festival – the fine details will be worked out with the skippers in camp one evening shortly before we arrive in Hobart. We are in discussion with the AWBF organisers to lay a good anchor so we can pull the fleet away from the oyster encrusted dock wall and we have press-ganged Kim Briggs to to be our local harbourmaster to help people get moored on the day. Don’t be concerned about the order of boats as they are drawn in the plan – they’re not all going to hang off Black Pearl, which is one of the smaller boats in the fleet.
