Huon Yacht Club are considering organising an event with MAST to show how to safely use flares. The last time we had one of these evenings it was a big success with lots of hands on – but that was ten years or so ago. Letting off a safety flair is not one of those things you do too often (hopefully), so even if you have done it before this would be a good chance to practise.
