‘The Wooden Boat Guild is planning a visit to Franklin for Sunday 7 September to see what is going on in your part of the world. If the LBT “works” were open on that day we would love to see your current projects. We are considering having a BYO BBQ at the Wooden Boat Centre to which you and your members would also be cordially invited: need to confirm details with Andy Gamlin who is still overseas.’ One to put in the diary.
