|Colony 47 has organised two awareness days with us for Dunally Primary School on 28th May and 25th June. On the first of these days the children, from grade 6, will be working in the shed: making wooden boats, steaming wood, and stripping an outboard motor.
On the second day (25th June) they will be concentrating on water awareness – finding out about tides, weather, map reading etc, followed by a three hour trip on Yukon down to Port Huon.
We need volunteers to help on both days for rescue boat, model making and rowing instruction. Please contact Glynn Shevels – 0419 341493
