The bushfires had put a big dent in our organisation, and the final nail in the coffin was that the ‘return raid’ from Hobart will, in all likelihood, be prevented by weather from coming up to Franklin until after the scheduled date (Friday). And how can you have a homecoming regatta without a homecoming fleet? There is an intention to organise some spontaneous activities on Friday: watch this space. |
