Call for nominations for the LBT Committee

| One of the major tasks for the AGM to be held on September the 19th is to elect a committee for 2020-21. Nomination forms have been printed and can be collected from the LBT shed. Alternatively download and print one from https://tinyurl.com/y5lb6vhl
Both nominators and nominatees need to be financial members, so get that sorted out first (or at the same time) if it is an issue. For details about membership payments see https://tinyurl.com/ydh6euo3 We on the current committee (see list at http://lbt.rforster.org/about-us/committee) strongly encourage every member to consider nominating. All committees needs a periodic infusion of new ideas, new expertise and new enthusiasm. The Trust is in a stable financial position with a strong bank balance, assets in excess of $500k and no outstanding debts. The membership is actively and enthusiastically involved in a number of ongoing projects. This should not be a ‘hardship posting’. New committee members should be able to quickly get down to the task of making the LBT a better place. To find out more speak to one of those on the list mentioned above – several of them are known to lurk about on Monday afternoons and evenings.
