Book for the Maritime Trail this coming weekend (10-11 May)

Yep: it is upon us. There are all sorts of events scattered around the State. Some of them are booked out already, some are not. You can find out, and make your own bookings, at https://www.australianwoodenboatfestival.com.au/maritime-trail-program .

Of particular interest in Franklin is the series of seminars and workshops and films at the Palais. On Saturday:

Cody Horgan, 3pm-4pm;

Sea Shanty Workshop, 4.30pm – 6.30pm;

Palais Theatre – Fisherman’s Friend Film; 7pm – 9pm.

On Sunday:

Surfboats and Rangers 10-11.20am;

WOMEN AND WATER PANEL 11.40-1.10pm;

Forestry & Wooden Boats 1.40-3pm;

Founding the Festival 3.30-4.30pm;

Writing about Boats 5-6pm;

Best of AWBF 6.30-7.30pm.
