Day 7 – lbt

‘A day of good progress with a dozen people beavering away.  A boat building  milestone was achieved today – the stems hog and four frames were glued together to form the backbone of the skiff .  Work began on the the oars with a group preparing four superb lengths of Oregon timber ready for shaping.  The third pair of planks were scarfed and glued together. Still a lot of shaping of the rabbet this Friday,  and I think everyone is looking forward to fitting the first pair of planks next Wednesday
