‘As promised, it was a day of sticky fingers, at least for some of us. The third pair of planks are now glued in place. The fifth pair of planks have now been made up- only the sheerplank to go! Oar building continues to keep three or four of us busy -at the moment shaping the backs of the blades and rounding over the looms. With the third pair of planks glued in place, some us more optimistic souls are saying ” she’ll nearly float now !”‘
